Your product moves fast.
Documentation doesn’t.

Your code changed. Your docs didn’t. Pulse connects repository and API changes to the pages they may have made outdated.

Write however you work

One source. Three good ways in.

Use a calm visual editor, work directly in Markdown and Git, or let an agent prepare a reviewable draft.

01

Visual editor

Blocks for the whole team. Markdown underneath. No proprietary document format to escape later.

02

Markdown + Git

Keep content in a repository, review diffs, and publish without making every writer learn Git.

03

Agents

Draft through MCP, inspect the diff, and leave publishing to a person with the right permission.

A site worth sending people to.

Fast static output, thoughtful defaults, custom domains, versions, private docs, and themes that do not all look like the same template.

Readers get accessible HTML. Search engines get semantic pages. LLMs get Markdown and llms.txt. Tools get scoped API and MCP access.

What is Staleless?

Staleless is a documentation platform for writing, publishing, finding, and maintaining product documentation. It combines a visual editor, Markdown and Git workflows, published sites, Pulse freshness signals, analytics, search, and agent-ready access.

Does Staleless replace Git?

No. Your Markdown can live in Git, and Staleless adds a writing and publishing workflow around it. Teams that do not want to work in Git can use the visual editor without giving up a reviewable history.

Can I import existing documentation?

Yes. Staleless supports Markdown folders and GitBook exports, with paths for Docusaurus, Notion, OpenAPI, and other structured documentation sources. Imports report unsupported content instead of silently dropping it.

How does Pulse keep documentation current?

Pulse combines review dates, repository changes, OpenAPI changes, link checks, reader searches, and feedback. It shows which pages are current, need review, or appear outdated, together with the evidence behind that state.

Can I use my own domain and branding?

Yes. Paid plans include custom domains, branding controls, themes, and custom CSS. Free sites include a small “Powered by Staleless” mark.
